Spark Their Future

Department of Education

The path to disengagement from education is many and varied and it can impact young people and families in many different ways. For this project our solution was to develop an approach that captured and communicated expert advice and strategies in a relatable and engaging way, providing a range of tools and approaches that parents can directly put into action when it comes to helping their child keep on track.

This tool and actionable advice based approach allowed us to create a practical resource that engages our audience, draws them in with real tools and takeaways, and gets them wanting to discover and learn more.

Utilising shorter tips and teaser videos for social channels, we guide our audience to the ‘Spark their Future’ website where they can discover and explore the content further. This approach provides a simple starting point to find answer to the questions many parent are asking and sets the website up as an ongoing support tool, for sharing knowledge and insights relevant to parents and their child.

Our aim was to create a valuable resource, not just for parents struggling to keep their child on track, but as a proactive resource for all parents and carers, with a focus on supporting parents to be their child’s best advocate, providing friendly, accessible information that helps them keep their child on track and equips them with the knowledge and tools that support them in navigating their options now and into the future.
