Making a decision that prevents an accident can happen in a split second.
If we can stay with our audience until that moment, then we have a chance to prevent injury or even death.
Safety is priority number one for all businesses, but how do you cut through and challenge an audience that is often oversaturated with safety messaging?
One solution is to create content that connects with an audience on an emotional level, a key factor that can boost retention exponentially. This means there’s a much higher chance the key messaging is recalled in that split second when a decision has to be made, a decision that could impact our audience’s safety, or even their life.
We evolved the proposed direction to add an element of drama to not only remind our audience of the appropriate procedure, but also to reflect on why it is important, and the impact that forgoing safety measures can have not only on the victims of an accident, but on those who were involved in working in an unsafe manner.
With this project we developed an approach that wove together an instructional video with a dramatic recreation that reminded our audience of the appropriate procedure, how to work safely, and most importantly, gave them a reason why.
